Study Group regarding the Evacuation of Welfare Facilities and Education Facilities

< Purpose >

As an activity for spreading fire protection technology, our study group is launching social awareness programs and workshops in nationwide welfare facilities for the elderlies. By narrowing down on issues that have huge impact on society when fire breaks down at elderly welfare facilities and education facilities, we focused on 2 main case studies involving “Easily understandable transmission of fire protection technology information” and “Evaluation Methods for Facilities”.
Our study group has been granted the Sasakawa Scientific Research Grant by JSS*1 in 2010, and the Kajima Science Foundation Grant in 2013 and 2014. We were also awarded the AIJ Education Award by AIJ*2 in2014.
