Japan-Taiwan joint Workshop on Fire Risk and Fire Safety Design

An international joint workshop between Japan-Taiwan on fire risk and fire safety design was held.
The study group’s main goal is to streamline fire safety design. We now are reviewing common design methods such as the fire protection/evacuation codes. We believe that one of our prior assignments is to put fire safety design method based on risk management into practice. Our first workshop was held in 2015, and this was the second.
The workshop was held between engineers in Taiwan and Japan, who had common interest in fire risk and fire safety design. Engineers presented issues and present situation of their own countries and various opinions were exchanged.
