Fire Safety in Childcare Facilities

In order to countermeasure the shortage of day care facilities, the number of high-rise office buildings with childcare facilities installed by owners is increasing in urban centers these days.
Since kindergarteners cannot evacuate on their own, designing fire safety of the facility and evacuation plans are important. In this symposium, we suggested design methods for daycare facilities and safety management proposals for facility managers and employees.
